We can enjoy a getaway weekend in Lisbon in a thousand ways, we propose a program where you can see the main monuments and quarters of Lisbon, and enjoy your trip with couples, friends or family.

This guide is based on your arrival to the city would be a Friday midday, enough time to get to your hotel in Lisbon and relax of the flight.

Friday afternoon:

A few hundred feet or so, we found the Praça do Rossio, from there we will cross the Rua Augusta, a shopping street where we found shops, bars, restaurants etc … to arrive at the Praça do Comercio, the most important and spectacularsquare of Lisbon.

As a reward for this tour of the city center, we can dine in this place, is one of the liveliest places in Lisbon.

Saturday morning:

Saturday morning will be dedicated to learn some historical places of Lisbon, start from Castle of São Jorge, tram line 28 leaves us at the gates of this spectacular monument. After visiting the most important castle of Lisbon, we will continue our walking tour the narrow streets of Aflama and appreciating its old buildings, walking through this district could not finish, so you better organize your time.

Our next visit will be the Parque das Nações, place that hosted the Expo98, today is a place entertainment for Lisbon´s people and visitors, in this park we found restaurants for lunch.

Saturday afternoon:

During Saturday afternoon we can visit more tourist attractions in Lisbon, we took the tram since we are to arrive at Estrela district, where we will visit the Basilica of Estrela.

After this visit, we walk along the street Calçada da Estrela until the Palácio de São Bento, the current Portuguese parliament building. walking down the same street, about 100 or 150 meters, we will be in the District of Bairro Alto, where you can walk through its streets and dine in one of his restaurants.

The night in the Bairro Alto is very animated, if you want a night of partying in Lisbon, best to stay in this district.

Sunday morning:

The last morning of our getaway to Lisbon will be dedicated to see places missing on our tour of Lisbon, Belem district, one of the most visited areas in the city.

In Belem we can devote our time to visit the two most important monuments of Lisbon, We begin with the Jeronimos Monastery, and lastly the Tower of Belem.

These two monuments are a good choice to end our couples weekend getaway in Lisbon.
