Bangkok: City of Contrasts (II)

bangkok temple at night

Continuing the previous article on Bangkok, we will discuss some of the most interesting districts and areas to relax and the best nightlife locations.

Particularly noteworthy in Bangkok are the districts, Chinatown and Little India. These areas are full of movement and contrasts allow us to witness a packed brimming Bangkok business where everything is bought and sold without rest.

In these areas, we find all kinds of shops, among which are especially dedicated to fabrics, gold, sapphires, rubies, crafts and food. Indeed, many of the exotic cuisine that have become famous around the world that can be tested in Bangkok, can easily be found on the streets of these destricts, especially in Chinatown where small food stalls that appear in every corner of this area they provide us all kind of meals.

A notable area but also in stark contrast to with the previous monuments is the Lumpini Park, this large city park is a meeting point for thousands of the people from bangkok. It is a particularly quiet park, so it is a perfect place to unwind from the city hustle and bustle of other areas of the city. Also many people usually come to the park to practice tai chi.

Bangkok’s nightlife is one of its most popular items. In the city there are areas that have at night many locals that stay open all night. We have not found anything related to betting or gambling, as these premises are not allowed in Thailand.

Some of the most prominent places to enjoy the night of Bangkok are “Bed supperclub” a local very modern and sophisticated atmosphere, “Tapas” Arabian style house music, “Demo” one of the hottest clubs and one of the best areas of the city, “Culture Club” flocking home to many foreigners and it sounds all kinds of electronic music, “the Club “mix of foreigners and locals, young atmosphere and low prices.
