Continental breakfast, typical British food, exotic meals… the choice is wide but what happens when you are looking for a vegetarian hotel? Don’t worry, nowadays vegetarian hotels and hostels are a life-saver for veggies, who will have no more early visits to the supermarket to get the food they can eat.

We have chosen some affordable bed and breakfast and guest houses that claim their food is exclusively vegetarian or vegan.

Rockfield House is a quiet B&B located in the heart of rural Derbyshire. They are proud to give their guests a wonderful home cooked vegetarian cuisine. The restaurant holds the Cordon Vert Diploma, which is awarded by The Vegetarian Society. You can enjoy this delicious food and your own wines or beers- as they have no alcohol licence- In a peaceful environment where you will be able to choose from many outdoors activities such as rock climbing, canoeing or hill walking. This place and the surrounding towns are well worth a visit.

For those looking for an extra, we have chosen Hill Cottage, in Suffolks, a raw vegan B&B in an old and lovely house next to natural landscapes and great beaches, just the perfect location to unwind and relax… not forgetting the delicious raw vegan organic breakfasts, gourmet vegan food  for the evening meals and also packed lunches if you prebook them.

If you would rather visit the Jurassic coastline of Dorset and discover why so many artists were inspired here, you can stay at The Sands. The building is part of a restored seaside home. They offer a 3 course meal with a complimentary glass of wine or juice; the food they serve, when possible, is made using organic products, fair trade and local produce and, of course, is strictly vegetarian- vegans can request their own food when booking.

We will finish today visiting Kent. Welcome to Copperfields, a vegetarian guest house set in a beautiful Edwardian home, right in the centre of Broadstairs. The menu at Copperfields has the approval of the Vegetarian Society. They use organic food where possible, always offer an alternative to dairy products and also cater for vegans. This eco-friendly guest house next to gorgeous sandy beaches is the perfect place for tourists to spend the holidays.
