The Statue of Liberty, New York City


The Statue of Liberty of New York is one of the most popular attractions of the city and a mandatory stop if you are planning to travel to this amazing city.
Located at the South if the Island of Manhattan and near Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty was a present from France to the Americans in 1886 in the memory of the century of the Declaration of Independence of the United States. Designed by the French Frederic Auguste Bartholdi it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. The journey usually includes a visit to Ellis Island and the Museum of Immigration.
