Parque das Naçoes - Lisbon

The Parque das Naçoes, is a vibrant area in Lisbon of about 340 hectares, was where the Expo was celebrated in 1998.

Currently the park is an area for entertainment and leisure for lisboners or the city visitors with countless attractions, restaurants, bars, theaters, gardens, pedestrian areas and a large shopping center. Some of the protagonists areas in this park are:

  • Oceanarium: the second largest aquarium in Europe, is the main attraction of the park. it represents the fauna of all oceans with more than 15.000 animals and 450 species of plants.

    This aquarium includes a large central tank of 5000 m3 and 7 meters deep where you can see over 100 different species of this tank around there are 4 other smaller in size, each representing a different ocean with its own environment and species .

  • Vasco da Gama Tower: an excellent viewpoint and park access bridge, with about 18 kilometers long, is the longest in Europe.

  • Cableway: is a tour of a mile, is one of the best experiences of this park and the city of Lisbon.

  • Water Gardens: a spectacular space that turns around the water.
