Berlin – The city has completed Germany


Berlin is a city worth making a travel to see the many attractions that this city offers. Travel from east to west you can show the differences between communist Germany and the federal Germany.

City of Berlin is situated on the river Spree in Bundesland, the federal state of Brandenburg and is the largest city of Germany with a population of approximately 4 million inhabitants. Berlin is Germany’s capital and a city that has gone through some major changes in the last 100 years. Because now it is divided, the city flourishes, becoming every day a delightful tourist destination, visitors waiting with open arms worldwide. Since the end of World War II the city grew out of the past and became one of the largest construction projects in Europe.

 

Berlin Wall in 1989 was a turning point for the metropolis, which has been divided for over 28 years. East Berlin and West Berlin are now unified, yet there are still signs of division that existed in the past. In Berlin there are many attractions and sights, but among the most popular sights include the Berliner Dom – huge cathedral in the Mitte, Brandenburg Gate – the former city gate and now a symbol of all Germans, Potsdamer Platz – one of the most animated markets in Europe, full of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, the Berlin Wall and the imposing Reichstag building – headquarters Parliament Germany, a building as impressive today as when it was completed in 1884.

 

Berlin is a city where air atmosphere and change floats. Tourism is rapidly becoming big business which means that despite the tumultuous history of the German capital, the future can only be a prosperous and full of good things.
